I know many people who never had a passion for their jobs until they left and had to start over in a completely different career field. It is very important to focus on a topic that interests you. This is a great chance to show your real-life skills and experience that you may not have ever brought up in the book. If you are a talented singer, take some songs that you like and talk about how you would sing them in front of a roomful of people. Write a sample letter to accompany the song and talk about how you would send it to your boss.If you can, include your work experiences, too. Talk about anything that you were involved in. Tell your life story, how you became involved in the industry, why you chose the field, the way you went about it, and the results you achieved. These are the things that you can use to show your employer why you are the best person for the job.One last tip for the composition section of your resume is to make sure you include a sentence or two in each section that talks about what you hope to accomplish in the future. For example, if you want to be a surgeon, talk about how your future goals are to work with people, get better at your profession, and become a very successful surgeon. If you want to work as an engineer, say something like you want to build bridges and plan cities. Anything you can do to show how you will achieve your goals will speak volumes.
